Turtles began to lay eggs at kolavipalam beech in Kerala

The turtles, Olive Ridley reached once again at kolavipalam to lay eggs. Last week people engaged in turtle protection collected about 500 eggs from various parts of the beech about 8 km span. The people of this coastal area are well aware of turtle protection and making hatchery. last time when i visited the area I met some of the volunteers involved in turtle protection and discussed the various issues regarding the same. Any way a Big Effort!!
